How to Check out Library Books

Step 1: Find a book or books you are interested in checking out. Browse the library in-person and/or search the online catalog.  Regarding the organization of books, see the "WHHS Library Collection Map" below.

Step 2: Found a book? Simply bring it to the library's Help Desk and ask to check it out. By default, books are checked out for six school weeks.

Step 3: Return or renew the book any time before the due date stamped on the card inside the book's front cover. To return it, just hand it to the librarian or put it in the book return slot at the front counter. If you keep a book past the due date, your student account will be invoiced the replacement cost of the book until you return or renew it.
